Who can use it

  • For homes with City trash cart service.

How to book

  1. Call the Mayor's Action Center at 317-327-4622, or use the City's trash pickup request service, to schedule a Freon pickup.
  2. Allow ten business days for collection.

Refrigerator rules

  • Appliances containing Freon or refrigerants cannot go in the trash cart or out as regular heavy trash.
  • Schedule Freon pickup (refrigerator, freezer, AC unit) through the Mayor's Action Center. Allow ten business days.

Fees and limits

Option 2: Drop it off yourself
