How to get rid of a couch in Nashville, TN

Metro Nashville won't pick up a couch at the curb, but the Davidson County Sheriff's Office removes sofas front-curbside by request: call 615-880-3897. Or take it to a Metro Convenience Center, where one bulk item per visit is free with a Davidson County driver's license.
