Monthly curbside bulky waste: the basics

Who can use it

  • For single-residential households with City trash service. Bulky waste is part of your bundled monthly trash and recycling service.

How to book

  1. No appointment for regular bulky items. Find your bulky schedule using the lookup options listed on the City's Bulky Waste page.
  2. Refrigerators, freezers and AC units with Freon: call the Customer Care Center at (405) 297-2833 to schedule pickup during your regular bulky window.

Setting items out

  • Set items out by 6 a.m. on your assigned day, and no more than three days early. Crews may collect on any day of the three-day window.
  • Place items loose at the curb with 5 feet of clearance on all sides.
  • Not in the street, a driveway, empty lots or unoccupied property. Bagged waste goes in your cart.

Fees

  • The first 4 cubic yards are included in your monthly fees. Larger piles are charged per cubic yard over the limit (see the City's Service Rates & Fees).

What we could not confirm

  • We did not copy the excess-bulky per-yard rates because the City publishes them on a separate rate schedule.
